I'm here in Lakewood this morning, after Thanksgiving with Family yesterday. I'll be heading to Joshua Tree in a few hours. For me J-Tree is a wonderous place, where I first began to hone my Rock Climbing craft. I have many memories from out here in this other world. Once probably 5 years ago I was there at Thanksgiving. I didn't have a campsite pre-arranged then either. As things do it worked out anyway as G and I were able to poach a reserved but unclaimed campsite. Tonite we'll see what the desert has in store for us. This time I'll be with Jeff and Mike, and so a different dynamic. Unfortunately my queen is not here with me this time. She has to return to the city to work on our big project.
A side note for you. This is really just practice for a future plan I have of mobile blogging along my bike tour across the country. My Palm Pre just keeps getting better, and making it possible. I don't have a date yet but it will happen.
